Dr. Rebecca offers Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture, or Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture at the Hove and at the Christies Beach clinic also!.

An initial assessment is vital to ensure she can address the underlying TCM pattern/imbalances which will ultimately improve outcomes of the facial treatments. If the root cause of a problem can be determined, the flow on effect can be managed!

Once diagnosis is made, the treatment involves facial acupuncture and body acupuncture. Facial guasha and use of facial rollers will complete the treatment with the use of some divine natural facial products through our suppliers at White Lotus.

STANDARD 1hr Facial Cosmetic Acupuncture treatments include facial cleanse, facial massage techniques to address concerns, facial cupping if indicated, facial gua sha if indicated, facial rollers if indicated, facial acupuncture/body acupuncture.

The special offer below is ONLY the acupuncture - we don’t have time for all the bells and whistles so it’s a great add on if you’ve had the full face treatment recently, and would like some top ups!

Please get in touch with Dr. Rebecca Brook if you have further questions, or book your initial consultation via the link below.

What is it?

Cosmetic Acupuncture is based on a Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis - whereby the WHOLE person is treated. This differs from many of today’s facial treatments where very specific areas are the only target spot.

Cosmetic Acupuncture is a holistic, natural treatment for facial rejuvenation. Dating back to ancient Chinese medicine times, this treatment is today known for it’s improvement in qi and blood circulation through the muscles, skin and facial tissue.

Why try it?

Not keen on synthetic facial treatments, fillers or botox/muscle relaxants? Looking for something more natural?

If you have tried other facial rejuvenation treatments, you may be interested in Cosmetic Acupuncture. With a focus on raising qi (with the aim to reduce sagging) there are many techniques used which are non-toxic and natural.

Nothing is injected into the skin - only very fine facial acupuncture needles are used, alongside massage and utilising traditional chinese cupping and/or a jade roller. Bliss!

How does it work?

Diagnosis is key - Dr. Rebecca Brook utilises facial and body diagnosis, and works within Chinese medicine principles. Certain lines/wrinkles/creases may indicate a certain organ needs support, and this differentiates Cosmetic Acupuncture from western facial treatment options.

There is a relationship between wrinkles and internal organs, which only a Chinese Medicine Practitioner/Acupuncturist can assess.
